Position Details:
Titles: Diesel Technician (3 openings – 2 in the shop & 1 field service); Emergency Vehicle Repair Technicians (2 openings – 1 in the shop & 1 field service); Allison Transmission Technicians (2 openings in the shop)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (in-shop) or home-base remote (field service) in greater Phoenix, AZ
Shifts: Diesel Technician in-shop shift is Monday – Friday 11am – 7:30pm; Diesel Technician field service shift is Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm; Emergency Vehicle Repair Technician in-shop & field service shift is Monday – Friday is 6:00am – 2:30pm; and Allison Transmission Technician in-shop shift is Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30 pm. There may be some work outside these hours as needed/required for emergency service.
Compensation: You will be paid a starting base rate level based on maintenance experience and skills + bonus based on branch performance and company profitability + $3/hr. on top of base for any field service position work + additional $2/hr. per certification for completed certifications (ASE, Diesel, ECTCC, Transmission, etc.) cumulative pay raises and incentives for progression through professional development skill levels & certifications + full relocation up to $5K. Starting base rate levels for these openings are:
• Service Tech 4 = $21-$26/hr. (~1-3 years’ experience, typically transitioning active-duty military junior enlisted or early career civilian vocational candidates)
• Service Tech 3 = $24-$29/hr. (~2-4 years’ industry experience)
• Service Tech 2 = $26-$31/hr. (~3-5 years’ industry experience)
• Service Tech 1 = $29-$35/hr. (~4-6+ years’ industry experience)
• Journeyman = $32-$41/hr. (~5+ years’ industry experience)

Travel: There is no travel for the in-shop technician roles. For the field service roles, you will travel daily from your home and service mobile vehicles, semis, and fleet equipment at customer sites in the field within the surrounding area, typically within 25-mile radius or within 2-3 hours of your home, depending on the position location. Occasional overnight that will be planned in your service schedule. The service area covers all of Arizona, with a high concentration in the greater Phoenix area. Company service vehicle provided for all field service work and travel. Will go into the shop once a week to re-tool for the service week.

Position Description: As the heart of the company, the technicians safely perform service, routine and emergency maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair in-shop or in the field with world-class customer service. In this role you will be responsible for fixing equipment and systems and making bumper-to-bumper repairs and recommendations to customers trucks, vehicles, and equipment. In-shop you will work with other service technicians and associates or in the field you will work independently to ensure all scheduled work is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
• Service, repair, modify, diagnose, and reassemble vehicles, machinery, & equipment for operation.
• Failure analysis, service, and repairs for customers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, air conditioning, and emissions systems issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance – changing oil, checking batteries, lubrication, etc.
• Repair diesel trucks – engines, alignments, suspension, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical systems.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, etc. for proper, safe, & optimal operation.

Requirements: Good, safe troubleshooting skills and experience on heavy vehicular systems & equipment.
• Experience servicing tractor/heavy equipment/medium-to-heavy-duty diesel trucks.
• Experience servicing truck brakes, suspension, clutch, chassis, and some engine work.
• Emergency Vehicle role requires solid experience on chassis and engines, they will teach the apparatus.
• Allison Transmission role requires just that – Allison Transmission experience!
• Outstanding teamwork, drive, and willingness to learn with excellent customer service.
• Basic hand tool for work as a maintenance professional. Company offers a Tool Insurance program.
