Title: Electrical Special Projects Technician
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm (Mon – Fri)
Compensation: $30-$35/hr based on experience + annual bonus

Position Description
As the Electrical Special Projects Technician, you will be an active member of the installation team focused on the installation of electrical infrastructure as required for customer installation.
Also, completing preventative maintenance as planned by Systems Management.

Responsibilities include:
• Installation of liquid tite, receptacles, installation of colored wire per electrical code, termination of breakers in RPP, testing, sending of code sheets and installation of grounding infrastructure
• Coordination with customers and other departments for the installation of service related electrical installations
• Direct communication with upper management in regards to install schedule and assigned daily tasks
• Direct interface with customers regarding support tickets requests
• Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed with an acceptable level of cleanliness
• Perform quality assurance checks on all work completed
• Maintain appearance and communication for all Customer Service opportunities
• Self-motivated to help and learn in all areas of our department outside their direct supervisor position

Requirements
• Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; be able to express ideas clearly, concisely and effectively with contractors performing maintenance or upgrade work on systems installed in the data center environment
• Utilize good initiative, analytical skills and sound judgement to solve problems and make decisions
• Ability to interface with the operations and construction teams on a daily basis
• Works with direction and works independently with an interest in quickly learning and applying new skills and abilities
• Identifies and prioritizes tasks and plans workload effectively
• Demonstrates a willingness to work hard with a sense of urgency and a respect for deadlines
• Background in electrical service/maintenance.
• Licensed Electrical Journeyman preferred, not required.

Computer Equipment and Software:
• Intermediate working knowledge of various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
