Title: Facility Engineer
Location: Sterling, VA. Live within an hour of the facility.
Shift: Dayshift
Front Half
Monday 6-6pm
Tuesday 6-6pm
Wednesday 6-2pm
Thursday 6-2pm
These Rotate every 6 weeks.
Back Half
Thursday 6-2pm
Friday 6-2pm
Saturday 6-6pm
Sunday 6-6pm
Compensation: $40-$48/hr. 5% differential pay 4pm - 12am. Overtime is available.

Position Description:
The Facility Engineer on shift is responsible for the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in support of mission-critical servers requiring 100% uptime.
You will ensure proper distribution of power within the facility and to equipment racks. You will be responsible for ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and prompt repair of equipment, as needed.
You will also manage contractors and vendors and institute and maintain maintenance contracts for equipment.
Requirements:
• Military candidate with electrical and mechanical background.
• Knowledge of medium and low volt systems including UPS, PDU, transformer, etc.
• Knowledge of generators.
• Experience with HVAC systems preferred.
• Able to apply basic computer knowledge and experience to facilitate the ticket process.
• Exhibits good communication and writing skills.
• Must exhibit a fanatical customer service attitude.
• Due to the nature of the position, you must be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead.
• Due to the 24x7 operations of the facility, you must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
