Title: EHS Coordinator
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Shift: 1st Shift; M-F – 7:00am – 4:00pm
Compensation: $20-$30/hr

Travel: <5%. Possibly travel to evaluate a safety issue at a project site.
Position Description:
As an EHS Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company standards and establishing and maintaining continuous improvement processes. This position will include safety inspections, training and providing training to others to ensure safety, and environmental standards are being met and maintained. The EHS Coordinator will be a part of the Quality & Safety team and will report to the Q & S Manager.
Requirements:
A candidate for this role should have a high school diploma and knowledge and understanding of safety procedures. It is preferred they have prior EHS experience and knowledge of local, state and federal OSHA guidelines. Huge plus if experience in manufacturing but not required. Candidates with experience in safety protocols and procedures can be sent to OSHA training is not prior certified. Must have strong organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, and be able to critically think and problem solve.
