Requirements:
You will perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines, adhering to manuals, diagrams, and engineering specifications. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including gearboxes and electrical controls, as well as fabricating repair parts using machine shop instruments and equipment when needed. The individual will provide recommendations to improve mechanical maintenance reliability, ensure a safe work environment by following PPE and lock-out/tag-out procedures, and operate a forklift (certification required). The job also involves performing basic facility repairs, such as plumbing, lighting, and HVAC, while closely collaborating with the Maintenance Manager, engineering, and production teams to coordinate repairs.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with department programs, scanning systems, and touchscreens.
• Mathematical proficiency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong reasoning skills to apply mechanical knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns.
