• Title: Equipment Operator
• Location: Valley City, OH
• Shift: 1st Shift (5am – 2pm) & 2nd Shift (2pm – 11pm), Monday through Friday; occasional Saturday work, as required
Compensation: First Year Total Comp = $64k – 68.5k
Base Payrate ($20.50/hr) $42,640
Average OT (12.5% - 15% Average OT) $7,995 – 9,594
10% Target Bonus (Paid Quarterly) $5,000 – 5,300
Annual Value of Stock Award $2,200 .
Total $63,700 – 68,500

Position Description:
As an Equipment Operator you will operate Scrap Management Yard equipment (metal shredder, baler, crane, trucks, forklifts, etc.) at the company Yard collocated at the Clyde Whirlpool plant location. Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing maintenance of mobile equipment, conveyor, baling, and separation systems
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Provide professional customer service at all locations.
• Must be dependable, reliable and on time.
• From this position, you can grow into a Site Supervisor of one of the company facilities or you can grow into a position at the Toledo Divisional Headquarters.
Requirements:
The company is looking for candidates with equipment operating experience with good work ethic and interpersonal skills. Candidates with experiences operating construction equipment, forklifts, cranes, trucks are ideal backgrounds. Most importantly, candidates must exhibit strong self-discipline, passion for work, loyalty, and high levels of reliability. Specific requirements include:
• Must have or be willing to obtain Class A - CDL.
• Must be able to obtain company crane, baler, and forklift license.
• Must have good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic Preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Equipment troubleshooting skills is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic hands-on tasks.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Ability to work outdoors and climb numerous flights of stairs numerous times.
• Ability to perform housekeeping responsibilities such as shoveling and sweeping.
