Title: Line Technician WFL
Location: Mt. Hope, OH
Shift: Typically, Monday – Friday | 1st Shift & 2nd shift openings. These are 10-hour shifts with OT available
1st shift: 5am-3pm
2nd shift: 3pm-1am
Compensation: $24.52/hr + $1.50/hr shift differential

Position Description | UPS Field Engineer
As a Line Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery, ensuring high-quality production of sectional and rolling doors and their components.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Operate assigned machinery and equipment such as roll formers, presses, milling machines, welding tools, cutters, routers, molding, and extrusion machines.
• Perform entry-level production tasks to manufacture sectional and rolling doors and related components.
• Follow product specifications, drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), work orders, and run schedules to ensure accurate production.
• Maintain product quality by adhering to established procedures, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and proper equipment settings.
• Conduct inspections and measurements to verify product specifications and ensure quality standards are met.
• Adjust machine and equipment performance as needed to maintain product quality.
• Utilize hand and power tools, cranes, and material handling equipment to assist in manufacturing tasks.
• Fabricate and assemble sectional and rolling door sections and components as required.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background and has the ability to oversee the product on the line.
Additional Qualifications Include:
• Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures to ensure safe and efficient production.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent bending, pushing / pulling, reaching and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly lifting up to 35 pounds.
