Title: Plant Manager
Location: Pekin, IL (Outside of Peoria)
Compensation: $75-80k + Bonus

Team: Manage a team of 10 maintenance technicians and operators
Position Description:
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all plant operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality standards and efficiency targets. Key duties include equipment maintenance through preventative programs, employee engagement, cross-training, and collaboration with other facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor manufacturing processes and address issues to improve productivity and quality.
• Manage daily operations to maintain a safe, productive environment.
• Coordinate manpower planning and work with Master Scheduling to align with business cycles.
• Develop and manage budgets for expenses and capital needs.
• Optimize resource use (manpower, equipment, materials) to meet production and safety targets.
• Drive cost reduction efforts while ensuring product quality and meeting business objectives.
• Maintain safety standards and improve safety records in partnership with EHS.
• Prepare monthly reports on operations, highlighting successes and addressing shortfalls.
• Foster a team-oriented culture, encouraging employee involvement and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• The ideal candidate is an experienced technical leader with 5+ years of experience managing a maintenance program and technicians. Experience with the maintenance and repair of valves and pumps is required. This is a great fit for MMs and other similar backgrounds.
