Title: Industrial Electrician-Journeymen
Location: Houston, TX
Shift: Monday – Friday 6am – 4:30pm with 30-minute lunch & 15-minute break in the morning.
Compensation: $33/hr. - $38/hr. starting base rate + 1.5x for O/T + $200/hr. for any on call work week once fully trained. Annual review. Consistent pay raises and bonuses every year.

Position Description: The Industrial Journeymen Electrician reports to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for all plant Electrical Maintenance, but is heavily focused on and responsible for troubleshooting, and electrical automation. Because this role really varies day-to-day on the types of equipment you may be working on that day, the Industrial Journeymen Electrician must be able to troubleshoot, fix, repair, and maintain a lot of equipment across the board, whether mechanical or electrical. In general, the Industrial Journeymen Electrician primarily troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs all production systems and equipment, performing troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and installations on all equipment and systems in the plant to ensure smooth operation, production, & safe working conditions.
Key duties include:
Troubleshooting & solving production and facility equipment problems during day-to-day operations.
Performing preventative electrical maintenance on equipment & systems to prevent downtime/deterioration.
Work assignments on projects for continued growth, expansion, & safety of the plant and work areas.
Work with outside contractors to perform installation or service of equipment within the facility.
Assisting operators to minimize downtime and complete scheduled equipment cleaning/changeovers.
Position Requirements:
Candidates must be able to hit the ground running troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and equipment. Electrically candidates must be able to hook up systems and be great with motors and interfaces in a variety of electrical situations. You will be trained in other areas beyond your skillsets and experience to perform maintenance across the board. All candidates must pass a 10-panel drug screening and have a good background.
