Position Details:
Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Floodwood, MN
Shift: Monday – Friday | 1st shift
Compensation: $32 -$38/hour (depending on experience) + OT (roughly 3-4 hours a week paid at 1.5x)

Position Description | Maintenance Supervisor
Maintenance Supervisor – The position of Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Plant Manager and is directly responsible for all facility and equipment maintenance related to the production, warehousing, and shipment preparation of company products.

Responsibilities include:
• Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
• Work with production employees and the plant manager to assemble equipment parts and products and obtain knowledge in trouble shooting basic maintenance related issues.
• Drive the Maintenance and Reliability initiative focused on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance plan and related quality standards.
• Assist in ensuring safe operations are maintained along each part of the production line.
• Obtain OSHA 10 Hour Safety Training, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
• Coordinate work with outside contractors, providing project management, ensuring safety of personnel, and performing other duties as required.
• Participate in designing and developing facility/production modifications including design meetings; coordinating with Research & Development regarding product changes and improvements; and updating maintenance operating procedures and schedules to incorporate the changes.
• Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.
• Operate fork-lift & front-end loader as needed.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined with strong manufacturing maintenance experience. Fabrication/welding/pneumatic/hydraulic skills are a plus as well as prior forklift/front end loader maintenance training (but not required). Lastly, you must be willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
