• Location: Milan, IL
• Schedule: Opportunity to travel often. Installation sites may be anywhere in the US and last from one to three weeks.
• Compensation: $32 to $34/hr plus OT (1.5x over 40 hrs) @ +5 to 10 hrs on project deployments, per diem $30/day, hotel stays paid for overnights
Position Description: The Site Supervisor is an on – site project lead for overhead conveyor installation services. You will have overall responsibility for project progress, safety and quality assurance and will also be a key player on the field as well as you yourself will jump in on project work like welding and assembly. Duties include:
• Communicate with the customer onsite as well as our office.
• Run an organized, safe and professional job site.
• Keep record for worker time sheets, safety toolbox talks, and other documentation required.
• Operate a forklift or scissor jack and manage overhead rigging and installation ops
• Operate hand power equipment such as saws, drills, impact guns.
• Enforce all sites specific job site rules, housekeeping, parking, lay down areas and other job- related requirements.
• Enforce 100% compliance to job-site safety regulations (hard hats, tool guards ect…)
The Fit: The company is looking to our hands-on military leaders from mechanical specialties. Machinist Mates, Hull Technicians or similar will be the primary fitment for this opening. Required skills include welding experience, ability to interpret drawings and operating powered hand tools. Ideal candidates will be a Work Center Supervisor or above.
