Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals to be a Technical Support Technician with one of the oldest and largest distributors and servicers of mining and construction equipment in the Midwest.
Position Details:
• Title: Technical Support Specialist
• Location: Louisville, KY
• Shift: Monday – Friday, Generally Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Compensation: $55-70k based on skills/experience

Position Description:
Support customers using telematics systems for construction and mining equipment. Ensure optimal deployment and utilization of these systems, manage telematics subscriptions, and help customers analyze data to maximize their equipment performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and continue professional growth.
• Interest in technology, particularly in GPS, IoT, and wireless communication systems.
• Basic understanding of data analysis.
• Familiarity with construction and mining equipment for basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Education or certification in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
