Position Details:
• Title: EPS Maintenance Technician
• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Shift/Schedule:
o Morning shift: 8:00a – 4:30p (Mon – Fri) (one opening)
o Afternoon shift: Noon – 8:30p (Mon – Fri) (one opening)
• Compensation: Target base rate ~$27.50/hr
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Overtime is paid at 1.5X after 40 hours

Position Description: As an EPS Maintenance Technician you will maintain and repair mechanical / electrical / boiler systems within a manufacturing environment. You will execute capital projects (installation, dismantling of equipment) and other various maintenance tasks throughout the facility as well. Some specific requirements include:

• Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
• Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
• Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair.
• Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specific procedures.
• Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
• Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
• Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
• Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
• Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.
• Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
• Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and work areas.
• Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills, ideally with industrial equipment and systems related to boilers and associated systems. You should have a baseline familiarity with repair of production equipment including 480v, 3phase electric to 24vdc, communication wiring, pumps, welding and pipefitting, etc). You must be a “problem-solver” by nature.
