• Work Schedule: Standard M-F- normal daytime hours (~8a – 5p.)
• Compensation: $25/hr. - $30/hr. + some OT

Position Description: As a Production Support Technician, you will be serving as an in-house liaison between customers and Field Service Engineers for company’s LASER products. Some specific responsibilities include:
• Issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) as required and ensure RMA database entries are current.
• Provide remote support for company Customers, resellers, and subsidiaries.
• Provide preventive and breakdown maintenance to domestic and international customers.
• Coordinate scheduling of repair activities at the company, both warranty and non-warranty.
• Support mid- to high-power laser pre- and post-installation activities.
• Support development of training modules for both company and Customers.
• Help manage failure analysis activities, including taking pictures and documenting failure analysis results.
• Create/revise work instructions, procedures, user manuals, training documents, etc.
In order to be successful in this role, you should be able to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics and drawings and have good troubleshooting skills with both high- and low-voltage equipment, and the ability to utilize that knowledge during telephone support. Experience with industrial lasers, accessories and related diagnostic equipment is ideal.
