Position Description:
Maintenance Technicians/Millwrights are responsible for the mechanical maintenance of plant machinery, ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently. This role supports equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
Key duties include:
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and rotating equipment.
• Installing, aligning, and assembling production equipment.
• Operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and basic machine tools to support repairs.
• Welding and fabricating as necessary to support plant operations.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Documenting all maintenance work using a CMMS.
Requirements: Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of industrial mechanical or millwright experience. Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic systems is essential. Experience with equipment alignment, rigging, welding, and using mechanical hand and power tools is also required. Candidates must possess strong mechanical aptitude, a solid understanding of safety practices, and the ability to read technical documents and mechanical schematics. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are required. All candidates must pass a drug test and background screening prior to employment.
