Position Details:
Title: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Ho Ho Kus, NJ
Shift: This is a Mon-Fri position with 8a-5p business hours.
Compensation: $75-$80k depending on qualifications and experience! + a bonus up to $20k!

Travel: The position requires some travel in Northern NJ, NYC, and surrounding areas to support customer visits.

Position Description:
This is a full-time role for an Outside Salesperson. The Outside Salesperson will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships and generating new business through prospecting and networking, presenting and selling company products, preparing and delivering customer-focused presentations, and providing post-sales support. The Outside Salesperson will also be responsible for managing sales channels, establishing new and maintaining key relationships with customers and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Requirements:
This is the perfect opportunity for an E-5/E-6 Veteran candidate with shipboard mechanical systems, preferably steam, experience to jump into the Sales field! Your mechanical knowledge will set you apart, and VTI will teach you the rest of the business.
• Mechanical Aptitude or related field experience is preferred
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
• Experience in energy services and/or industrial sales is preferred
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Proficient computer skills
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory to meet with customers and attend trade shows
