Position Details:
• Title: Field Service Engineer - Laser
• Location: Boston and surrounding area
• Shift: Monday – Friday, Daytime hours. Evenings and weekends as needed.
• Travel: 25% - Regional to eastern New England
• Compensation: $90-$95K + OT and company car

Position Description:
• Provide technical and administrative support activities including repair, preventative maintenance, and upgrades on company surgical equipment
• Install LenSx and diagnostic equipment according to customer’s specifications
• Perform reactive, corrective and preventive maintenance, retrofits, upgrades and system installations on qualified company laser and diagnostic equipment
• Handle daily schedule with assistance from dispatch, manager and senior team members while delivering on time and accurate documentation
• Maintain timely communications with customers, managers, regional and cross-functional teams – promptly addressing concerns, quality assurance, and medical safety issues
• Remain current and align with company financial, travel and expense guidelines on expenses and inventory management through reports, cycle counts, and operational duties including training, trade shows and regional support
• Exhibit a professional appearance and promote company services to customers, while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Protect and maintain company assets, such as vehicle, test equipment, tools, computer, software, and communication devices
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant experience working on electromechanical systems.
• Ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
