Position Description: One of the technologies that MEQ is investing in is a patented non-toxic, non-supersonic blasting formulation and process that will likely revolutionize the heavy mining industry. As a Product Manager for this new technology, you would lead efforts to educate clients on uses and capabilities while also helping with the testing and formulation of the product. You will also be heavily involved in setting up the batching process at various client sites (which is why a background in Chemical Engineering is strongly preferred).
In order to be successful in this role, you should have a strong background and experience with detonation and blasting, as well as Chemical Engineering. You can realistically expect to travel quite a bit to big mining areas in South America and Latin America, so being bi-lingual in Spanish is a big plus. You must also be able to be licensed with the ATF for handling / transporting explosives (ie no felonies in background, etc).
