Position Details:
Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Phoenix, NM, UT, ideal candidate is in Phoenix, most accounts are in driving distance. *maybe every other week, outside of phoenix area. Home most days. Work van provided. When going to Utah, will likely fly and send parts, but Alburquerque drive out and try to cluster jobs in the area. Needs to be able to be self-starter/able to schedule self.
Compensation: $27-29/hr, potential for 20k annual bonus based on performance and company. realistically: 20k is based on a year, based quarterly, if they join in q2, will likely see it q3-4, sign off on jobs w/in 24 hours (document compliance is 1k/month) service agreements/warranty: sign or resign. OT (potential 5-10 hours) at time and a half over 40, driving time paid.

Travel: 80%, Mon-Thurs/sometimes a week at a time. Frequent overnights to support customer based out of area.
Position Description:
The company is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide preventative maintenance and repair services on company’s medical equipment on-site at hospitals in an assigned section of Upstate-NY.
This role will require applying a detailed understanding of electromechanical systems and the tools and processes required to complete the work. Daily focus will be on high-quality equipment service and on building customer relationships to drive growth opportunities.
The selected technician, working remotely, should reside in the Syracuse metro area to stay central to the hospital customers that require regular visits.
A company vehicle will be provided and all travel paid by the company.


Day-to-day functions:
• Maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer locations (medical facilities).
• Technical diagnosis and repair cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.
• Assists the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc).
• Grow Service Contracts revenue through service contracts and renewal of existing service contracts.
• Align with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
• Completed and submit accurate reporting.
• Spare parts inventory management.
• Daily driving to customer locations (medical facilities); 30-50% overnight travel.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required. (Associate’s Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical field preferred)
• Repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Training and/or certifications preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
