Position Details:
• Title: Maintenance Technician
• Location: Valley, NE (30 miles west of downtown Omaha)
• Schedule: Opportunities exist on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts (Mon – Fri)
• Compensation: Target base rates:
o Maintenance Mechanic: $23.70 (entry/apprentice) to $31.34 top out rate (shift diff $1.00 nights, $2.00 weekends)
o Maintenance Electrician: $27.52 (entry/apprentice) to $35.43 top out rate (shift diff $1.00 nights, $2.00 weekends)
• Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Relocation (lump sum) / sign-on bonus is available on a case-by-case basis; you also will participate in the company’s Annual Variable Compensation Plan

Position Description: As a Maintenance Technician (Mechanic or Electrician) you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all facility equipment (electrical / mechanical equipment, welders, AC/DC motors, PLCs, overhead cranes and hoists, pumps, compressors, CNC machines, etc). Some other essential responsibilities include:
Mechanic
• Perform a variety of mechanical-trade functions in the installation, maintenance or repair of equipment related to welding, fabrication, material handling, etc.
• Install or repair any of a variety of mechanical equipment.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in the mechanical elements of systems or equipment.
• Communicate with the Supervisors, Production Manager, and General Manager regarding problems and estimated times for repairs.
• Learn aspects of mechanical maintenance throughout the shop.
Electrician
• Perform a variety of electrical-trade functions in the installation, maintenance or repair of equipment for generating, distribution and/or utilization of electric energy.
• Install or repair any of a variety of electrical equipment, such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layout or other specifications.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
• Communicate with the Supervisors, Production Manager, and General Manager regarding problems and estimated times for repairs.
• Work standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment using a variety of electrician’s hand tools, measuring and testing instruments.
• Learn aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance throughout the shop.
In order to be successful in these roles, you should have a strong background in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and systems, ideally in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. You must be adept at interpreting technical diagrams and schematics. As a Mechanic you must have familiarity with hydraulics, pumps, compressors, cranes, motors, etc. As an Electrician you must have familiarity with 480V, electronic controls, switchboards, wiring, lockout/tagout, etc.
