Position Details:
• Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
• Location: Durham, NC
• Shift: 4-3 rotational schedule rotates on a Saturday. This position will be working on nights from 6p-6a or 7p-7a.
• Compensation: Level 2- $28-30 per hour plus 15% shift diff ($4-4.5)

Position Description: As the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician they will be responsible for performing equipment start-up, modifications, upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance on production and R&D systems. This role will interact directly with equipment engineering, process engineering, and other groups to meet goals. This person will be responsible for a diverse mixture of activities with a strong emphasis on hands-on mechanical assembly, high-vacuum systems and electrical work.
Requirements:
• Veteran profile – Nuke MM, MM, Aviation Mechanic, or equivalent veteran tech with industry experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• Mechanical background - because of the uniqueness of the equipment, you will not possess prior experience on these tools
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
• Must be physically able to lift to waist level and carry up to 40 pounds
• Must be physically able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and crawl to reach work
• Organized, neat, detail-oriented, conscientious, and thorough
• A team player mentality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• PC and Microsoft Office suite experience
• Ability and willingness to work a 12-hour night shift in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility in your work schedule and the ability to work overtime on short notice
