I left active duty in 1995 and landed a civilian job through Orion International in 1996. I was, however, active in the USMC Reserves until I retired in 2003 as a Lieutenant Colonel. I began my latest career search in June 2007.

My recruiter, JP Sniffen, along with Bill Fitzgerald, was accommodating and helpful and had my best interests in mind. I had a phone interview with JP within days of my initial inquiry with Orion and attended the July hiring conference in San Diego. At that conference, I interviewed with my eventual employer. After a series of four other interviews, I was offered a position on August 17, 2007.
