I was naturally a bit nervous leading up to the Hiring Conference, as I was continuing to learn more and more about the private sector all the way up to the Hiring Conference. However, once I actually arrived and went through the process, I couldn't have been more impressed. Everything came together so well. The company briefs on Day One, the mixer that evening, interview preparation on Day Two, the fact that the Orion recruiters made themselves available all day for ad hoc questions, the interviews themselves, all lent to a perfectly scheduled event. Everyone was helpful throughout the entire thing. I'll highly recommend a Hiring Conference to any transitioning vet at least curious about the private sector.
