My experience with Orion was unmatched, and I owe them everything for starting me on my path to a second career following the Air Force.  I started my career transition by going to a few career fairs, which left me feeling lost and by interviewing with some competing ‘head-hunting’ groups for JMO's.  Initially turned off by the lack of tailoring to my wants and desire to expand beyond my engineering background, I tried to look for opportunities on my own without much luck. 

Then Todd Phillips with Orion reached out to me and convinced me to give them a shot.  Following a very in-depth phone interview, a list of matching opportunities was sent, allowing me to tweak the list as I saw fit, adding opportunities that I thought sounded like a match and removing those I had no interest in.  Todd was available personally to talk about each one, weighing the options prior to the DCC. 

Once at the conference, the prep work headed by the cadre of mentors, all of them prior military JMO's who had been in my seat not that many years prior, was intense but definitely prepared me for the day of interviews to follow.  Along with the company specific knowledge offered by those cadre allowed you to really tweak your preparation and be as ready as you could have been.  Orion, specifically Todd and Scott McNary, gave me all the tools to be successful in the interviews at the conference, as well as with the follow-up interviews with the companies.  Going from not knowing what to do to having my choice of careers was amazing, and I couldn't have done it with Orion.
