Project Manager
West
US Army, O-3
I separated from the Army as a Captain in 2006 and found a job in the housing industry. However, I found myself searching for a job again in 2008 due to the collapse of the housing industry in Tucson, Arizona. I decided to work with Orion International based upon peer recommendation.
Both Katrina Phruksukarn and Bill Fitzgerald helped me throughout the hiring process. Having prior experience with other recruiting firms, I can say that Orion simply outperforms their competition. From the initial phone contact to interview preparation and follow-up, Orion did an outstanding job with the organization and execution of the Seattle hiring conference I attended in June. More importantly, though, I felt the recruiters had a genuine interest in making the right fit for both parties.
Prior to the hiring conference, I participated in an initial phone interview/screening call followed up by a conference call. I felt that the conference call was an outstanding tool to communicate information and raise questions to the benefit of everyone. Following that, I attended the June Seattle hiring conference. I also attended the interview preparation sessions.
I am now happily employed as a Project Manager for Kroger. Thanks go to Katrina and Bill for helping me throughout the process. They met my bottom line goal by presenting quality opportunities with competitive salaries in a variety of desirable locations. Great job!
