US Navy,

I had served in the military for nine-and-a-half years when I left the military on May 26, 2004. I was an aviation machinist mate, first class. After separating, I went to school full time for a couple years and then started looking in earnest for jobs in September 2007. My Orion International recruiter was Ernest Burson. He did a great job of hooking me up for an important interview with Embraer, which resulted in my getting the job I wanted.

First, I sent Ernest my resume, and then he asked me some questions regarding what I was looking for. After Ernest contacted Embraer about me, I received a call from Embraer setting up a phone interview. This is precisely the type of job I was looking for, since it involved doing the type of work I am licensed to perform. (I am an aircraft maintenance technician with an FAA airframe and power plant license.)

I did contact other job placement services aside from Orion and happened to apply for the same job that I got at Embraer through another intermediary – all to no avail. The only services I did not use were the ones that charged to access a database, which was a cost that I could not justify. Thanks, Orion, for the help getting me a great job and a new start!
