When a hiring conference through another recruiting firm didn’t pan out, I began networking and connected with Todd Phillips at Orion. Todd and I didn't have a lot of time to get to know each other prior to the conference. However, I sensed very quickly that he genuinely wanted to assist me in my career search. Todd made sure he understood where I was in my career search, and, more importantly, what I was looking for.

More than anything, Todd and his team were extremely accommodating. Since I was driving to the Chicago conference from Atlanta, Todd made sure I felt comfortable with the opportunities he and I thought were the best fit. At the conference, I was not initially scheduled to interview with the company that later hired me. Fortunately, Todd and his team gave all conference attendees copies of all the job descriptions for which companies were interviewing. I really connected with one particular opportunity that wasn't on my interview schedule. After expressing my interest in this opportunity, Todd and his team worked hard on my behalf to get me an interview with the company.

My new position as a Financial Analyst with Caremark is exactly the position and company that I was looking for. The position is a very dynamic one that fits my strengths and interests. The company is healthy, growing, and well-positioned in an increasingly competitive industry. At the end of the day, Orion brought the right opportunity to the table.
