Production Supervisor

Thank to Orion I will be a Production Supervisor with Covidien. There are definitely parallels to my military career in my new civilian one. They include: managing people while trying to accomplish goals, prioritizing work, mentoring and developing subordinates, and working with a wide range of people and abilities. I was a Captain, Company Commander, in the Army and feel like actually being in leadership positions and taking care of soldiers, as well as completing missions, prepared me for managerial positions in the civilian sector.

Mike Wood was my Orion recruiter, and he treated me very well. He really was awesome about listening to what I was looking for and really found me great matches to interview for, even if I didn't see the connection at first. Mike really had a good eye for where my past experience, personality, and needs would fit in the civilian sector. Mike followed up where many people did not do so in a timely manner!
