JP Sniffen was my Orion recruiter, and he was excellent at getting me over the hurdle of the first interview.  His insight on getting a second interview was spot on. I attended three hiring conferences over the course of five months, and my confidence increased with each conference.  At the last conference, I had three interviews and received three call backs. 

All of the Orion team was instrumental in developing my interviewing skills.  The mock interview sessions are outstanding.  Additionally, Orion’s insight into how my military skills translated to the civilian world was invaluable. 

My new position is Director of Marketing and Business Development at Crown Technical Systems. I also help with basic management of the company.  It is a smaller company of about 65 employees that is growing rapidly.  During my time in the military, I learned how to manage change both within an organization and to external equities.  This experience will prove beneficial to my current position.

From that push to get started all the way through compensation negotiations, the Orion team was a valuable sounding board and provided expert advice that was well-grounded in previous experience. Orion has a superb format that fits well with a military person transitioning from the military.  The fact that their reps have undergone similar transitions and speak both military and civilian speak is extremely beneficial.
