I left the Navy in December 2009 as a Lieutenant, Nuclear Submarine Officer, but I began my job search in October 2009. I feel the Navy prepared me quite well for a transition into the civilian sector.  The training, education, and leadership experience I received placed me far above my peer group within the civilian sector. Service onboard submarines was immediately recognized by civilian employers and held in high regard. 

Chris Hurst was my Orion recruiter.  His services, professionalism, and attitude were outstanding. Chris was able to answer all of my questions with straight-forward and informative answers. Furthermore, he provided services in a non-pressure and supportive fashion.  My concerns and preferences for employment were seriously considered, and all resulting interviews were in keeping with my desires.
