I retired from the military in May 2009 after searching for a new career since November 2008.  I served as a LCDR in the Navy, where I was in submarines for 17 years.  When I retired, I worked for a civilian employer from April to December 2009 but was laid off and began looking again right away.

Orion was in the middle of a hiring conference when I contacted them for help.  JP Sniffen, my recruiter, set me up a phone interview within a day and a face-to-face interview within a week.  After a phone interview and two face-to-face interviews, I got an offer.  The process was quick!
