I started looking for a job in September of 2006 after deciding to separate from the United States Air Force where I served as an Operations and Training Officer. After speaking with my Orion recruiter, I attended a hiring conference where the set up was exactly what I was looking for. I arrived on a Sunday and practiced interview techniques with the Orion team for half a day. We then received in-depth company information for the second half. Finally, the interviews were broken up into two days, which was perfect. I highly recommend these conferences to any transitioning JMO. The conference helped me find exactly the job I was looking for. I will be in a leadership role with a huge amount of responsibility working in an organization that strives to be #1.
