Working with Orion was a great experience. Orion, JP Sniffen, and his team, foster a professional/ in-depth relationship with the candidate that focuses on the needs of the candidate instead of the needs of the recruiter (i.e. commission of the recruiter).  There was never pressure on me for a position or interview that I didn’t feel comfortable with, and I always felt that I was listened to and acknowledged when talking with Orion. 

In the beginning of my career search, my focus was more towards technology jobs, but as time went along I changed to a more sales oriented focus.  During this entire process, I was coached and my questions were always responded to with insightful answers without any push from JP.  I never received a job opportunity that didn’t fit what I said I was looking for, which to me was very important (and much different than other recruiters).

All of my job opportunities were given through job conferences in the San Diego area, and beforehand I was always contacted and told what positions were available and which ones would suit me best. I was always very well informed and coached, both by the Orion Recruiter and Account Executive. Overall, hiring conferences are a great tool for those who are entering the civilian work world and are very professional in nature.
