I left the Army as a Captain in the Chemical Corps. My military background provided me with experience leading soldiers; while staff work helped me better understand the importance of higher-echelon planning. This development, in only four years, was instrumental in being prepared for the civilian workforce. I believe that a 2LT who has successfully planned and executed a training event has more experience than a civilian with five years in the workforce.

Bob Berkholz was my Orion recruiter, and I was treated very well. After speaking with Bob, I was instructed to purchase a book on interview techniques. We also went through some webinars that prepared me for the hiring conference. The hiring conference was a very well organized event where we were briefed by the companies, followed by a cocktail reception with the company representatives. I felt very well prepared for the interviews.
