My experience in the military prepared me to handle the stress and intensity of a faced-paced company like Ventana Medical Systems. Military training helped me to pick up this new field quickly and provided a connection to several of the other employees who are also veterans. Ventana, like the Navy, places a lot of importance on individual responsibility and focuses on maintaining a positive image within the community.  Ventana also places a high interest on living a healthy lifestyle and offers work out sessions (PT) before and after the workday several times a week.

My Orion recruiter, Mike Wood, was helpful in suggesting companies and helping me prepare for interviews. Overall, Orion really did a good job of listening to my input and providing feedback on career options that were available. They were far more supportive then any of the other agencies I spoke to. I'm glad that I worked with Orion to get a great job with a company like Ventana.
