I left the military in January 2011 and started job searching a month later. I first heard about Orion International through my co-workers.

I went to a hiring conference first, which I was not prepared for.  My recruiter, JP Sniffen had me come anyway, and I am glad I did.  It was a great first step and got me excited to get out there and interview.  I did not interview there, but just came for the first day to get a feel for how it all goes.  I feel like Orion put on a great event that was really helpful in my process.  JP told me that he would keep an eye out for something in my area, and a few weeks later, he called me with an opportunity.  I began the interview process with this company, and after four iterations, they hired me.  That easy!

Orion met my needs. They were organized and had coaching that other competitors did not offer. I felt like JP was a great asset in my search for a job.  He seemed to genuinely care about how each step went.  I felt like he understood my situation and kept that in mind when looking for opportunities.

I am very happy with my experience with Orion and specifically with JP.  I loved the coaching aspect of what Orion offers, especially as being new to this process.  JP took the time to explain some things, and I valued his opinion.  I would recommend Orion to anyone of my fellow officers on their transition into the civilian workforce.
