As a Supply Officer in the Navy, I gained an excellent background in engaging companies that I use in my position as a Sales Manager at Siemens Energy. Supply chain management is an obvious parallel, but the best thing about my military experience is the leadership background. It gave me the flexibility in the job search and did not pigeon hole me.
