I was working with another company that places field grade officers in leadership positions for civilian companies when I heard another candidate mention Orion during a conference. After having several interviews set up by the other company, I decided to give Orion a call.

My recruiter was Bob Berkholz. Bob was an EXCELLENT recruiter. He made it easy for me to stick to what I wanted to do and where I wanted to work. He was persistent, honest, and always had a ‘go-get-it attitude’. Even when I decided not to pursue certain opportunities he presented, he took my feedback, went back to the drawing board, and suggested a company that was a better fit the next time. Bob made me feel like he really had my best interest at heart, with his straight-talk and no nonsense attitude.

I am now a Project Manager for a mid-sized Environmental Services company. I haven’t been with the company long, but I already see that the leadership involved is parallel and the amount of responsibility that my company entrust me with is very similar to when I was an Active Duty Officer in the Army.

Orion, by far, was a much more enjoyable and productive experience. I’ve worked with similar placement agencies and when I came to Orion, I felt taken care of. Although it took a while to find the perfect position for me, I can honestly say that I believe that Orion helped make that happen…and it was worth the wait.
