Equipment Service Technician
Northeast
US Navy, E-5
I left the Navy late November 2012 and decided that I needed a break, so it was mid-December before I really started looking for jobs. In reality, I should have been on the ball looking for work a few days after I got out. I heard about Orion through some friends of mine, but was contacted by Mike Wooster, and that was how I came to really understand what Orion does. It's more than a recruiting agency. Orion really takes care of the applicants and are always looking out for what best suits you.
Dave Conner was also heavily involved in my hiring process. There were others, as well, who were very helpful and even tweaked my resume to make it look not only better but also only take up a page! Everyone I spoke to was engaging and helpful and always looking out for me to make sure I got the job that I wanted and would enjoy doing. Orion made my geographical restriction of New York City work and found me a job near where I live!
Orion was spectacular. Seeing as how they provide their job seeker services for free, that makes it an even sweeter deal! Orion kills the competition, and if given two offers that are the same, I will always go with the Orion side, because they have proven to be an invaluable resource. I am very happy with my new career!
