Orion International is a great organization to work with. They helped me develop the proper interview and presentation skills that I needed to find my second career. The thing I liked about Orion is that they took the time to get to know me and a find out what I wanted to do. They provided me with the essential tools that I needed to write a solid resume and be able to communicate with future employers.

I was very fortunate to attend a hiring conference in Cincinnati with Todd Phillips and his team. One of the things that I really appreciated was the confidence that Todd had in the candidates that were there. I distinctly remember a conversation I had with Todd about the companies I was slated to interview with the following day. I did not think that I possessed all the skills needed for some of the companies. He took time out to show me, based on my resume, why I did in fact have the skills they were looking for.

One of the hardest things about transitioning from the military into the business sector is converting your military experience so that it meets what companies are looking for, as well as being able to communicate that experience. I really appreciated that he took the time out to help me realize that I had what it takes to be successful at these companies.

I’m very happy that I worked with Orion. My transition from the military was a very smooth one, and, because I worked with Orion, I was able to transition out of the military into a great job with GE Lighting. I have and will continue to recommend them to my friends and others that are transitioning out of the military.
