My recruiter, Chris Hurst, was a constant professional. I believe he had my best interests at heart. I felt that our contact by phone, as opposed to all email, allowed for a more immediate personal connection. At the time that Chris contacted me, I was unsure of the type of job I wanted to pursue. With this in mind, Chris provided me with interviews that covered numerous positions. The process that led me to the Marketing Manager position with FNH USA, where I am now employed, consisted of a face-to-face interview preparation, as well as one via conference call in preparation for a hiring conference in 2007. While at the conference, I had the opportunity to prepare further and research the companies which which I was interviewing. I had seven interviews!
Before I attended the Orion hiring conference, I submitted my resume for over 20 positions and received little to no responses. I was unable to get my foot in the door to conduct an interview. Orion was able to help me get that foot in the door and obtain an opportunity to interview with various businesses in the geographical location I wanted. I found that getting to the interview is the hardest step…and Orion was able to fill that gap.
