Job Description
Position Details:• Title: Field Service Engineer
• Location: Metro New York

Position Description: Responsibilities include:
You will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support and maintenance for X-Ray and Medical Imagery equipment. This involves traveling to client locations to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, as well as conducting regular maintenance checks. You will often work closely with other departments, such as sales and product development, to enhance overall customer satisfaction and contribute to the success of the organization. Ensure that production equipment and support utilities are available as demanded by manufacturing.
• Complete preventative maintenance (PM) and quality assurance (QA) inspections.
• Manage and understand company’s service software policies and procedures.
• Complete internal / external documentation and complete / comply with vendor training.
• Keep all service access keys up to date and current.
• Maintain service tools / meters to manufacturers specifications for equipment testing.
• Maintain and keep stock of critical replacement items for consumable customer parts.
• Assist and communicate with the ASM to identify critical customer issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate with and liaise between company departments and customers.
• Rotate through an on-call schedule for after hour customer service calls.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of imaging equipment, basic computer and electrical systems.
• Experience with hands-on field service tools and mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated technical acumen, business knowledge, and commitment to teamwork.
• Willing to travel and work independently and have excellent communications skills.
