Position Details:

• Title: Field Service and Lab Engineer
• Location: Atlanta, GA
• Shift: Days (8:00am – 4:30pm EST)
• Compensation: $27-33hr+

• Travel: 80%
• Relocation package: Case-by-Case

Position Description:
• Join our team in a multifaceted role with key responsibilities. Your focus will include installing advanced equipment, offering customer training, and collaborating with experts for successful installations. As a troubleshooter, you'll diagnose issues, address software complexities, engineer solutions, and conduct prompt repairs and preventative maintenance. Diligently, you'll maintain detailed work reports and provide expert advice to customers. Your professionalism will shine as our ambassador, upholding the highest standards during interactions. Your role will also encompass planning and documenting internal trial runs, configuring lab setups, and ensuring the excellence of our lab machines to advance our cutting-edge solutions continuously.

What you’ll be contributing:
• Install Equipment:
- Install equipment and provide training to customers on how to operate it.
- Communicate and cooperate with different subject matter experts to ensure a successful install.
• Troubleshoot & Repair Equipment:
- Troubleshoot equipment to determine the cause of reported problems.
- Analyze software problems
- Engineer solutions for special applications
- Once the problem is identified: repair the equipment to restore it to full functionality.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Maintain Work Reports:
- Write logs of every service call they perform and add notes to customer records.
• Advise Customers:
- Show customers how to use equipment and advise them on best practices to keep their equipment functioning well.
• Perform Demonstrations:
- Demonstrate equipment capabilities to customers and demonstrate how to perform various tasks, including simple maintenance.
• Maintain Appearances:
- Professional in work ethic and appearance.
- Represent company and must portray the highest professional image to customers.
• Trial Runs:
- Plan, execute, and document internal trial runs
- Design specific lab configurations
- Keep Lab machines in excellent technical conditions

Requirements:
• Mechanical Skills:
- Use their hands and various tools to install and repair equipment, as well as utilize basic mechanical principles to assist with the troubleshooting process.
• Electrical Skills:
- Use basic electrical principles to analyzing failures of electrical components and equipment based on symptom recognition.
- Able to read and interpret E-Plans.
- Repair and install all electrical components to retain full functionality.
• Customer Service:
- Interact with customers by helping them resolve equipment issues and telling them how to use newly installed equipment.
• Communication:
- Use verbal communication skills to speak with customers, listening to their concerns and asking questions when needed to determine the nature of their problems and equipment needs.
• Professional Flexibility:
- Must be willing, prepared, and able to visit customers on a moment’s basis in many cases including weekends when necessary.
- Being able and willing to travel internationally for installs to the extent of about 2 weeks.
• Analytical Thinking:
- Diagnose equipment problems and determine ways to fix these issues, which requires analytical skills.
• Computer Skills:
- Log information into digital work reports as well as navigate company programs that assist in troubleshooting all elements of machine equipment.
- Software and Controls experience
• Physical Fitness:
- Must be physically fit enough to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- They may also crouch or squat to work on equipment.
