Title: Senior Manager - Continuous Improvement
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Mon–Fri onsite
Compensation: $125k-175k base salary, based on experience. 20% target bonus, based on personal and company performance (realistic to earn 2x bonus).

Position Description:
This is a newly created role within the Global Operations team. Responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce work-in-process, improve fill-rates, and improve process flow and efficiency.
• Lead a group of employees, coaching and directing for achievement of organizational goals
• Implement Lean methodologies to optimize value streams and eliminate waste
• Assure CI plans are linked to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), goals, and annual productivity targets
• Identify and track cost improvement projects
• Engage with internal and external customers, meeting regularly and responding to requests and explaining procedures
• Interpret, design, and execute policies that affect work processes and personnel within the assigned organizational unit
• Identify opportunities to drive improved efficiency and productivity as well as lead the development and execution of implementation plans
• Implement staffing changes and identify resource requirements
• Develop department teams by assessing knowledge gaps and identifying appropriate training
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory audits
• Interpret internal and external indicators by reviewing reports and newsletters, reading organizational literature, meeting with peers, and reading departmental reports.
• Establish and monitor department area budget through regular analysis of cost and spending

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years (ideally) of progressive Continuous Improvement experience within manufacturing. Medical device industry preferred
• Leadership experience with an Engineering mindset – ability to effectively engage and influence at all levels to create structure – ability take initiative to creatively drive change/results to achieve goals
• Project Management experience
• Solid analytical, organizational, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
• Strong communication, presentation, and training skills with ability to effectively communicate with employees and management
• Highly motivated, creative, and results driven personality looking to drive changes
• LEAN Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt) – Black Belt preferred
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook

The essential functions of the Field Service Representative consist of but are not limited to the following: Maintains thorough knowledge of all ImageTrac mechanical and electronic functions. Provides effective, timely, and competent technical support assistance to customers. Arrives at customer sites within the contracted response times. Ensures proper management and control of all company assets (tools, documentation, software, intellectual property, etc.). Strives to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is always maintained. Maintain a working knowledge of SoftTrac, Docnetics, and all company proprietary software. Properly follows the call flow for all incident activity. Ensures that RMA parts are returned promptly and according to current procedures. Properly tests all work performed to make sure it meets the quality expected of the company. Meets all scheduled deadlines. Be available for dispatches during and after normal business hours as dictated by current contracts. Analyze customer operational processes for possible opportunities for the company software sales or services. Maintain a working knowledge of PCs that are associated with all generations of company equipment.


Requirements:
• 2-3+ years of Electronics troubleshooting and a working knowledge of PCs
• Must have a valid driver's license and good credit history.

• Shift: You will work from home and typically operate at clients’ sites during normal office hours, M-F, 8am-5pm. Understand you will often be travelling to/from client sites outside normal business hours, and this is where you accumulate most of your overtime hours.
• Compensation: W2: $90,000+ (base salary + OT & quarterly bonuses + additional travel bonuses)

Position Description:
As a Field Service Engineer with the company you will provide field service support to install, conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and retrofit company products and services. Beyond customer service and support, you will be required to liaison between the company field support team and the customer to plan installation of equipment at new customer sites and provide follow-on support for the operational aspects of the equipment and software. Expect to work normal daytime hours M-F, accruing 10-15 hours of overtime per week on average.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide optimum customer satisfaction on all company products and services.
• Install, monitor, assess, troubleshoot, and repair equipment within your assigned area of responsibility.
• Install and maintain wired computer networks.
• Provide remote diagnosis/repair support.
• Relay repetitive field service failures/equipment issues to Tier 3 specialists.
• Complete and submit regulatory and company required documentation.
• Represent company at technical shows and exhibitions as required.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates for this position will have 4+ years of military or industry experience with electronic/electrical process equipment and controls. You will eventually gain proficiency in all the areas below, but be sure to discuss if you have any experience in these areas:
• Previous field service/product installation experience
• Basic wired and wireless network integration experience
• Knowledge of basic anatomy & physiology of the eye

• Skills in operation, test, maintenance, alignment, and repair procedures for electrical equipment & controls.
• Ability to produce high quality work under pressure and within tight timelines with little to no supervision.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in formal & informal settings.
