Title: HVAC Mechanics
• Location: Twin Cities, MN campus in beautiful Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN
• Shift or Travel: Openings on 1st shift & 2nd shift, mostly Mon. – Fri. standard 8-hours, some weeks four 10-hour shifts.
• Compensation: Initial starting rate is $32.65/hr. going up to $36.41/hr. depending on experience for Mech 2 and $37.30/hr. going up to $40.31/hr. for Mech 3 ( Grade 2, which is three years of direct mechanical experience and Grade 3, which is five years’ experience)

Position Description: Mechanic
Mechanics are primarily responsible for providing complex mechanical maintenance, mostly HVAC type work, and repair work to building systems and other related equipment. Key responsibilities include:
• Tests, regenerates, inspects, adjusts, changes filters, repairs/replaces water softeners, distilled water, and laboratory water systems down stream of approved backflow preventers
• Aligns and replaces hot water heating, chilled water, and condenser water pumps
• Inspects/services/performs daily operation to water heating & low-pressure steam systems
• Repairs/replaces hot water heating, low pressure steam systems and steam/chiller components
• Shuts down, starts up, repairs, replaces, and installs irrigation systems
• Daily operation of chilled water generating equipment and repair (non-refrigerant side)
• Inspects, tests, cleans, repairs, and maintains daily operation of cooling towers
• Repairs and replaces components of air handlers and dampers; inspects and cleans coils
• Repairs and replaces variable blade axial fans & generator engines
• Notifies supervisor of equipment & supplies needs and facilities repair or upkeep needs
• Shocks water heaters
• Resets and programs building master clocks and lighting panels
• Flushes and winterizes heating and cooling coils
• Tests, cleans, lubricates, monitors, and inspects fire pumps and associated equipment

Requirements: Technical training in mechanical maintenance with at least 3 years of applicable work experience. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Position Description:
The company Inspection Field Service Technicians (FST) are required to provide World Class support to our customers through start-ups, audits, maintenance, repair, and training of Safeline X-Ray, Safeline Metal Detectors, Hi-Speed Checkweighers, or CI Vision machines. • Identify root cause of service issues (first time fix)
• Accurately complete and submit all service reports and documentation per service activity, timesheets, and expense reports in a timely manner

Requirements:

Position Description:

Seeking a Field Manufacturing Service Technician (FMST / Cyclotron Engineer to support their cross-disciplinary radio pharmaceutical research and production facility. The Cyclotron Engineer functions as part of a team of peers to provide service and maintenance to cyclotron and radio chemistry synthesizers to ensure maximum productivity and system Up Time while utilizing time and resource management techniques effectively. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provides service and maintenance for multiple cyclotrons and associated chemistry modules as assigned
Monitors and positively affects financial and operational performance
Works in compliance with all regulatory standards including EH&S, cGMP, Radiation Safety, applicable pharmacy laws, DOT, and internal policies and interpretations of the above as required
Participates in personnel training and staff development
Responds to calls for service support within a reasonable amount of time
Completes and submits work history tickets in a timely fashion and includes all relevant details
Schedules work and manages spare parts usage to minimize costs and maximize effectiveness
Monitors and improves Up Time for site cyclotron system(s)
Participates in the assessment of semi-complex product and equipment performance and recommends modifications and improvements


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Associates degree in engineering discipline or equivalent Military experience
2-5 years of experience in servicing capital equipment and electrical/electronic troubleshooting
Basic understanding of mechanical troubleshooting (equipment assembly/disassembly)
2+ years of experience with customer relationship management preferred
Working knowledge of the PET radioisotope production workflow preferred
Ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team
Technically skilled with proven ability to troubleshoot semi-complex problems and abstract issues, policies & procedures
Ability to read and correctly interpret various engineering documents (schematics, wiring diagrams, piping diagrams, etc.)
Ability to use standard electronic test and measurement instruments (DVM, oscilloscope, micrometers, etc.)
Ability to correctly utilize portable leak detection equipment
Ability to safely work in regions of high voltage and radiation
Ability to consistently perform all PMs per SOPs with no external support
