Position Details:Title: Shift Supervisor
Location: Lenoir, NC
Shift: There are currently two openings.
1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6 AM – 4 PM
2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 4 PM – 2 AM
On rare occasions, the Shift Supervisors needs to be willing to work the alternate shift
Compensation: $19-$22/hour (based on experience)

Position Description | Director of Operations
The Manufacturing Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for overseeing and assisting with the production, warehousing, and shipment preparation of Company erosion control products.
Primary Duties Include:
Manage the overall operations of the shift as it relates to production of materials.
Assist in ensuring safe operations are maintained along each part of the production line.
Oversee Bag out of finished product, label, and prepare for shipment finished goods.
Often lead in Safety trainings and be an active member in contributing to the safe operations of the plant.
Operate fork-lift, front end loads, & skid steers as needed.
Work with production employees and the plant manager to assemble equipment parts and products and obtain knowledge in trouble shooting basic maintenance related issues.
General manufacturing cleaning and organization required throughout shift.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a strong electro-mechanical background and practical experience with automated systems utilizing PLCs. You should also have 2+ years of industrial supervisory experience, strong interpersonal as well as communication skills, and a willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Additional Requirements Include:
Experience with Andritz pellet mills and refiners preferred, but willing to train the right candidates.
Safety and process control training and certification preferred.
Prior Forklift/Skid Steer Training a plus, but not required.
