• Compensation: $28/hour (~$60,000 annually)

Position Description
Company, a veteran-owned and operated company, is seeking an experienced Electronics Bench Technician to join their team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems, specifically MRI components. This role involves working on complex electronic systems, performing depot-level repairs, and operating advanced test equipment. All work is conducted in-house with no travel required, offering a stable Monday–Friday schedule.
As a leader in MRI component repair for manufacturers such as General Electric, Siemens, and Philips, company adheres to ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management standards to ensure consistent, reliable results.
Key Responsibilities
Component-Level Troubleshooting & Repair:
• Diagnose and repair components, including transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors, high-gain amplifiers, tuned circuits, and RF components.
Electronic Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of systems using tools like network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DVMs, and power supplies.
Test Equipment Operation:
• Operate and maintain electronic test equipment to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
Soldering & Assembly:
• Execute surface mount and through-hole soldering, as well as wire-to-board connections and other assembly tasks.
Documentation & Collaboration:
• Use software tools for data entry, equipment control (RS-232 and CAN interfaces), and test result documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to streamline repair processes and resolve technical challenges.
Safety Compliance:
• Follow all health and safety standards to ensure a secure work environment when handling tools and equipment.
Qualifications
• Education
o ASEET degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
o Military depot-level maintenance experience preferred or 5+ years of equivalent civilian experience.
• Skills:
o Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing advanced electronic systems.
o Expertise in using soldering equipment and a wide range of hand tools.
o Familiarity with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DVMs, and power supplies.
o Experience with software tools for data entry and equipment control (RS-232 and CAN interfaces).
