Position Details:
Title: Field Service Engineer (Tier 1 – Tier 3)
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Shift: M-F; Some on call for emergencies on a rotational basis
Compensation: $75k – $110k (based off experience / Background) + Annual bonus 3-15% (based on performance and company profit) + Overtime on anything over 40 hours (Overtime not mandatory)

Travel: 6 weeks of training in Japan. After completed most onsite in Hillsboro. Minimal travel in event of site support needed elsewhere

Position Description:
Field Service Engineers (FSE) are responsible for technical service of Company’s E-Beam equipment installed at customer site. Duties include; Facility checks, routine maintenance and adjustments of the equipment, troubleshooting of equipment issues. FSEs will follow the site leader’s directives and prioritization to ensure uninterrupted operation of customer’s equipment and high customer satisfaction. Lead and guide less experienced FSEs in performing maintenance and repairs.



Requirements:
A candidate for this role should have a base of mechanical knowledge of high vacuum and Ebeam technology, electrical experience (50,000v), exposure to Unix/Linux or Gnu plot systems and lock out tag out. Candidates should also have experience in statistical analysis and application design and support background. Must have or willing to get quickly a passport. Plus if the candidate has an EE or MM degree and or experience as a FSE in the semiconductor industry. Big plus if speaks Japanese (Not Required). Great opportunity for an industry experienced or transitioning veteran (Navy Nukes, MM, ETs, Missile Techs, Aviation or Communication techs, ST/ FT/ ICs).

Job Description

Position Details:
Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Hillsboro, OR; Fort Collins, CO
Shift: Rotating 12hr 3 on 4 off/3 off 4 on (7am-7pm)
Compensation: $30/hr - $40/hr depending on experience + eligible for OT
Benefits: Comprehensive health benefits, company covers most of the premium; $7,200 annual car allowance; 401k match;
Travel: 20% travel, some international, per diem when traveling

Position Description:
The key responsibility of the Field Service Engineer is to support customers with installation, maintenance and repair of company systems and retrofits.
• Installation and maintenance of company coating systems and/or retrofits on-site at our customer locations.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of our systems.
• Tracking and reporting system performance.
• Recommendation, development and execution of action plans to optimize the availability and performance of our systems.
• Provide technical support and advice for our customers.
• Acting as interface between company management and our customers.
• Evaluate and diagnose problems and make appropriate repairs.
• Expediently escalate issues to supporting resources when necessary.
• Work with technical support, customer & field engineers in isolating and solving problems.
• Answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional manner.
• Perform administrative and coordination duties, including pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly reports.
• Provide appropriate support and assistance to less experienced personnel as necessary.

Training:
• Apprenticeship Training: Megatronics Course
• Will also get training in Switzerland

Requirements:
• Associate degree in an Engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and vacuum processes, and relevant software.
• Demonstrated experience using computer applications, including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Must be able to get a passport and travel overseas for training.
