Position Details:Title: Project Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Shift: Monday – Friday | 1st Shift
Compensation: $120K + (depending on experience)
+ up to a 15% annual bonus (based on company and individual performance)

Travel: Limited travel (up to 5%). Mostly to areas of domestic shale plays (Permian, Bakken, Marcellus, etc.)
Position Description | Project Engineer
The Project Engineer (Gas Compression) shall develop, detail, and finalize the technical project design, including overseeing most project manager related activities; in accordance with the turn-in data developed by the Applications Group and with the assistance of other Engineering Groups. This information shall be presented in the form of detailed project specific, process flow diagrams, process & instrumentation diagrams, general arrangement drawings, structural drawings, electrical drawings, data sheets, bills of materials, process & control narratives and installation, operation & maintenance reference literature. This work along with any other required data must be accomplished whilst complying with the company standards, the project proposal and the customers’ specifications or input.
In general, the Project Engineer will lead all other Engineering Groups (process, instrumentation, controls, design & drafting, vessels and purchasing) in performing all tasks required to support the production of the final product. In addition, the Project Engineer will manage the project by coordinating all logistical particulars with the customer and all other departments. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the engineered items including procurement as outlined in the detailed responsibilities listed below.
Training:
The Company will provide sufficient training for all new Project Engineers to help them understand the processes, systems and business models that exist, so that they have the necessary technical aptitude to execute their work efficiently and effectively. The amount of training time devoted will depend on the person’s background, however it is expected that a college graduate will require additional training when compared to a person with work experience. The Company is committed to providing the appropriate level of training.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a Navy Nuke with an Engineering degree from an accredited university (Mechanical/Aerospace preferred) and a minimum five years of experience in reciprocating compressor packaging or related mechanical background. Lastly, you should possess basic knowledge of Mechanical Design, Thermodynamics, Chemistry, and Instrumentation & Controls
