Cory gives employers advice on elevating their approach to keeping candidates warm, while also attracting top talent for future hiring needs. His insight into cultivating a talent pipeline through candidate experience includes the reasons you should invest in the strategy and the different approaches you should take.
Cory explains that the main reason to focus on Candidate Experience is to create value for the candidate, and, in turn, the employer. He lists Speed to Hire, Quality of Candidates, Retention, and Competitive Advantage as a few examples of this value. To leverage this value, you first need to map out your current Candidate Experience and decide where you want to go from there. Cory advises that employers should reinforce touchpoints, ensure visibility, build consistent messaging, automate where possible, and collect feedback along the way.
