Who can attend?

We are looking for military officers and enlisted leaders who have been top performers in their field. We also welcome veterans with post-military experience who served well in the military before obtaining industry experience in the civilian world.

What does a typical DCC look like?

Over the course of the day and a half event, attendees of a Distinguished Candidate Conference can expect to start with Orion Recruiters doing a presentation on interview preparation and additional tips, followed by a mixer with the company hiring managers.

The following morning interviews begin for positions that are a match with your background, skills, and preferences.

What positions can I expect to interview for at a DCC?

Orion’s Distinguished Candidate Conferences host companies interviewing for positions across a wide range of industries. Typical positions that companies are looking to hire for include Project Management, Operations, Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering Management, Sales, and Leadership Development opportunities. 

Each Distinguished Candidate Conference is region-specific, and companies attending the Charlotte, NC, event are looking to hire for locations across the Southeast. First year compensation for these roles is expected to be between $70K-$130K.
