  • VIDEO: Orion Talent Employee Spotlight - Account Executive Ned Freeze

Ned Freeze has been an Account Executive for more than 5 years as part of Orion Talent’s Raleigh team. Prior to joining Orion as an Account Executive, Ned served as an Army Combat Engineer stationed at Fort Bragg. Ned’s passion to help veterans find rewarding careers led him to Orion in 2012.

Orion’s Account Executives are responsible for discovering and securing job opportunities for veteran job seekers and providing a pipeline of qualified military talent for our client companies. Whether he’s making calls to schedule interviews or hitting the road for a client visit, Ned enjoys learning about each company he works with. “What I like best about this job is that we’re able to pursue companies and industries that are of interest to us. I’ve been here for 5 years and have companies that I’ve consistently worked with over that timeframe,” says Ned. “A nice perk is that we get to travel to see our clients. I see all kinds of industries and office settings. Getting to meet them in their place of work gives me a better perspective on the culture for each company.”

America’s leading companies value the discipline, teamwork, work ethic and leadership skills that veterans bring to the civilian workforce. In addition, Ned’s clients are often seeking a different education and training background than a candidate graduating from high school possesses. “Just 4 years of military service gives you a respect for yourself that makes you carry yourself differently than someone who has not served,“ he explains.

Since 1991, Orion has found rewarding careers for more than 40,000 veterans. As an Account Executive, Ned gets to play a key role in making that happen. “The most rewarding part of this job is when I have a candidate interview with a company that has everything they’ve been looking for. Hearing the excitement when they get the call letting them know they got the offer for the position they wanted, that makes my job worth it,” explains Ned.

As Orion Talent continues to grow, our Austin, Cincinnati, San Diego, and, Raleigh, and Virginia Beach offices are currently hiring Account Executives to join our team.
